12 reasons why our generation “totes” sucks-

I hope I didn’t offend you with the title, but hopefully, most of you reading this are my age and are realizing how much further we our pushing ourselves to be the least respected as possible. I, myself, am guilty of falling into several (if not all…) of these reasons and that is the main reason WHY I am choosing to write this article. Trust me, there are more than 20 reasons, but for the sake of…

What we really want.

What we really want.

Written from the perspective of a twenty one year old college student who is at a standstill in life, trying to figure out my way and what I truly want in life. But remember, not everyone at this age has it figured out and if they say they do, I call bullshit.

I decided to change the way this blog was going. I decided that instead of just writing about the latest fad diets and workouts, I would…

Product Reviews Begin & Barney Nut Butter

The days where we had it figured out meant: planning what cartoons to watch on Saturday mornings, eating whatever breakfast we wanted, and playing with our friends without a second thought of how “cool” or “in style” the things we came up with were.

Life Changes

Ah, been nearly a month since I put my last post up hasn’t it? Sorry, I have been quite the busy bee! I’d like to share some of the things that I have been in the process of working on in hopes to maybe inspire you…or just update you :)

I’m taking this blog in a new direction, now…I’m not completely changing it but since it is my blog and all, I have decided to ADD ON to what I already have…

Intuitive Eating

Recently, I’ve been really stressing about my nutrition and my body has suffered greatly from that. Once you focus every amount of energy you have on every single morsel and bit of food you put into your mouth…you become mentally exhausted. Your body notices that, starts stressing, which in turn causes your body to crave different foods and hold on to more body fat…it’s a protection mechanism.

Protein Pumpkin Waffles

I know, I know..the whole protein thing is a little overdone. Who am I kidding? I still love it. If you don’t, get out. Kidding, just try this recipe though ;)

I have tried and tried to get a recipe that fits my waffle maker, my tastebuds, and my budget. That is a task, lemme just tell you. BUT I DID IT. Pretty proud. It just takes a few recipes, throwing them together, tweaking it, and BAM,…

Why I laugh when people bash the “fitam” revolution that’s changing lives.

Why I laugh when people bash the “fitam” revolution that’s changing lives.

HA. That’s all I have to say about that new article that came out about why the “fitfam” needs to be stopped. Mm no, the article needs to be stopped. Just because you wrote it in a satirical matter doesn’t justify your untrue allegations, your rude comments, and your body shaming. That must not be a good feeling to have so many negative comments, from people who’s lives have been changed,…

How can you better your eating habits? Try this ONE thing.

How can you better your eating habits? Try this ONE thing.

I know that’s not something anyone likes to hear, including myself. But how are we failing ourselves daily and how can we learn to accept who we are as a person, to overcome our weaknesses?

Hi all! I have missed blogging so much. I never understood the potential I could have with my blog and I just let it sit for a few months. I felt defeated, I felt my writing wasn’t up to par. But after a few…

You get what you give.

are you rude? don’t expect people to be polite to you.

are you selfish? don’t expect people to drop what they’re doing to help you.

are you loving? then there’s a good chance, you’ll be loved in…

I think I would die if someone acted like they needed me and wanted only me. I just don’t think it’s possible. To feel that someone cared about me as much as I do about them would be the most crazy feeling

Learning to branch out.

It’s that time..time for the holidays. I know, like most of you, that I enjoy these next three months with almost every fiber of my being. The pumpkin, the spices, the aromas, the brisk morning, the coffee shop visits, the smell in the air, the…
